These scams are becoming more popular. They state they are moving back to the US with their pregnant wife and need someone who can clean and care for their family. They eventually send you a check and ask you to wire their "agent" or similar person some money back for their arrival. The check is fraudulent and you will be held liable for the fraudulent activity. Do not trust anyone who claims they are moving back to the states and need assistance with wiring money. This poor economy has made us susceptible to these low lives. Beware and be safe. Good luck to all, I hope we find what we are looking for.

I had two experiences with fake cleaning jobs. One was extremely similar to the above scenario but the other was almost the same except there was no move or pregnant wife involved. This guy messaged me asked me for my full name and address so that he could run a background check, then asked me if i was ok receiving cash and i of course said yes. After that though he asked if could open up a bank acct so that he could transfer money to me. This immediately raised a red flag with me especially when he said so it was so i could "pay cash on delivery". The latter half of the conversation made little sense since i had already accepted the cash offer. I then told him he was full of it and reported him to the police. The funny thing is he got so upset when i told him he should be ashamed of himself for taking advantage of people who are just looking for work, and then proceeded to tell me to re-evaluate my life and called ME a lazy bastard. I was stunned to say the least, the epitome of low life lazy has the nerve to hypocritically call me the lazy one. If you think you are being scammed check the job listing and any messages you may have received and if they have quite a few typos or statements that just don't fit, probably a scam. I think allot of these people are from outside of america and do not know how to speak complete proper english and it reflects in their writing!

Anyhow they have used tybrian02@gmail.com and claim to be moving here at the end of July and offering me $20 an hour for 20 hours per week, or basically $400 a week to clean an apartment they are supposedly moving into. Just him and his daughter because apparently his wife died. SMH these low-life scuz's really disgust me. AND yes the comment a few above mine are completely right, they talk weird, like just sounds weird like things we don't normally say. They use "kindly" alot. He even attached 2 pictures of him and his daughter who I am looking for a matching pic on the internet because I am sure they just stole a pic off of someone's facebook site. ReplyDeleteI allow them to go through their scam, and claim I sent them their $2,000.00, and send them like $5.00 for 1.99 online money gram. But I will ask them to go to the walmart first, have them call me before they get the funds. I state that I dont want to be scammed, so as they approach the counter, I give them the reference number, while having my wife on the other line with local Law enforcement to arrest the scamster, after they only get the 5 dollars I sent to them. I will get the 5 dollars back, the law enforcement will get from me, the communications, emails texts, and fake check, and subsequent wite fraud transaction, video from walmart, recorded conversation of the perpetrator with me, and a nice jail sentence, and many more counts of wire fraud and what ever other offenses that they may have perpetrated once the police have searched warranted their homes. Money well spent on my behalf, which will always be repaid and with a bonus of a put a couple of hundred bucks, dependent on the law enforcement agency. And Anotherone bite the dust! Wow, I just realized how old most of these posts are. What is so unbelievable about it is that I just received basically the same text directing me to my email, and the scam.Im amazed that this has been going on since '16, or before, does that mean that ppl are falling for it, still? Just BEWARE everbody, there is definitely no shortage of scammers out there...
