Barry Johnson, Mystery shopper SCAM! god4works@gmail.com

Another mystery shopper job SCAM.  Do not trust any job position that asks you to wire them money.  This scam involves you depositing a check, wiring them back money through Western Union and then you find out the check was fraudulent and you are held responsible for the funds the bank gives you.  Please be cautious and do not trust these people.  Good luck to all seeking employment.

  6. I realized I had that Barry Johnson email after I posted an ad for my freelance services. I got so much spam. I requested in my ad for everyone to put their name, phone number and what types of services they need. All I got was a lot of scammy replies :(. I hope that I get a response that is truly legit. And now that I saw scams like the Ghanaian check scams and mystery shopping scams, that come as replies, I delete and mark as junk. It's so crazy how these people pry on innocent, people looking for work at home and trying to get them in trouble. They should all be reported immediately! It is very wise to research the companies and the names of the people who represent them. I looked up Barry and the Ghanaian scammer who had 2 names which he claimed he had to use his Yahoo IM for business purposes. Then the guy had the nerve to get on Skype video chat so I can see he is a real person. He could be using someone else in place of him. He had to have fake names because there's no person in Ghana with American names, right? Plus, I looked up the company he was talking about, including the website he claimed was down which had to be a lie as well. Same goes with this Barry Johnson guy. These people do nothing but take any company and try to represent it themselves just to make themselves legit. When you research the name with the company name beside it, you don't see anything to do with the person's fake name! That is how you can tell it is a scam!

    1. Thank you for visiting this blog and leaving a comment. I agree, it's sad and pathetic that they continue to try to scam innocent people in search of home work.

I too was looking for side work as I am unable to find full time employment. I put an ad on craigslist and got nothing but scammers. People trying to get me to wire them money, cash checks, print checks, mail items to "orphanages" in other countries. I was all for it until I took the checks to my bank and was told they were fake. That's when I discovered there are more people that are scamming then legit.

Good luck to you, I hope someone legit responds to your ad... I had no luck but I hope you do.
